Foxy Rib Hat – Crochet Pattern
I just love foxes so I created this adorable pattern to wear, and for those of you who would like to make one for your little one it is in two sizes. It is quick and easy to make and you should be able to complete it in one afternoon.
This pattern is written in both UK and US terminology. Pages 3 to 5 are in UK terminology and pages 6 to 8 are in US terminology.
Measurements are written using the metric system with imperial measurements written next to them.
Pattern is made for child age 6 -10. Changes for adult sizing is in brackets ( ).
|Head Circ.||Hat Circ.||Hat Height|
The fitting guide above is approximate as hats are often made with a negative ease of approximately 5cm (2 inches) so it really does depend on how tight you like to wear your hat. You also need to take into consideration that most crochet products will stretch with ongoing wearing and laundering.
8 stitches in htr (hdc) = 5cm (2 inches)
